Papago Park

Papago Park Military Reservation (PPMR) was originally established as Camp Papago on April 21, 1930 by Public Law 92 of the 71st Congress. The act served to abolish the Papago-Saguaro National Momument and reserve public lands for military purposes.

Since congressional designation in 1930, PPMR has been an active military facility supporting the Arizona National Guard.

Hours of operations

Russell Auditorium is a venue located within the Joint Force Headquarters building on Papago Park Military Reservation and is capable of seating 216 attendees.

The Arizona National Guard's Russell Auditorium is available for rent. Audio visual equipment is available upon request. All fees are dependent on the activity, group type and size, and special services and/or equipment needed.

Reserve Now

The Arizona Military Museum is operated by the Arizona National Guard Historical Society, a private non-profit corporation. The officers and directors serve as docents, and they perform other necessary functions in conjunction with National Guard support to operate and maintain the museum.
