Camping and Recreational Vehicle Park Regulations

– Pine View RV Park & Tappen Springs –
open from April 15th to October 15th.

Pine View Park has 14+ hook up spots with additional overflow in the area. ONLY authorized for Motorhomes and RV trailers.
 Tappen Springs is dry camping only. Approved for tent, vehicle popup tents, camper vans, Motorhomes and RV trailers.

RV Parks are first come first serve.
   Check Out Time: 11AM
Check In Time: 12PM
NO TRAVEL TO TAPPEN SPRINGS AFTER DUSK
Quiet Hours: 10PM – 6AM

 Camp Navajo RV Park Processes & Procedures

All Campers will check in with Camp Host upon arrival to Camp Navajo regardless of stay at Pine View Park or Tappen Springs.

  1. Camper will sign in and register stay with Camp Host.
  2. Camper will pay for all fees before establishing camp area at Tappen Springs. Pine View Campers may pay after picking RV spot.

 

Failure to check in with Camp Host within arrival of camp site will be penalize a $10 fee a day. Increase of violation will be subject of removal from camp site and Camp Navajo.

Camp Navajo RV Park is open to Current Military, Retired, Veterans, current DEMA Employees. (Must have proper ID to validate status. Will be checked at time of check in)

  • ALL CAMPERS MUST CHECK IN WITH CAMP HOST PRIOR TO TAKING AN RV CAMP SITE.  
  • Reservation Only for PCS, TDY & Soldiers on official orders are the only 
  • priority. 
  • Sponsored guest must check in with sponsor.  
  • MAXIMUM CONTNUOUS STAY IS 14 DAYS. Must leave Camp Navajo for 24 hours after maximum time. 
  • Camp Navajo doesn’t provide refunds under any circumstances. 
  • Traveling through the Buffer Area/ Authorized Area is PROHIBITED unless approved for hunt by Camp Navajo MWR Team.  
  • NO ILLEGAL DRUGS by Federal Law Definition 
  • NO clotheslines or hanging clothes outside to dry.
  • NO personal outdoor showers or latrines in the RV Park & Campground.
  • NO processing game or field dressing game
  • NO wood cutting within RV Park & Campground. 
  • NO treasure hunting, NO use of metal detectors or collecting cultural artifacts.
  • Leave all munitions & unexploded ordnance alone and report to Campo Navajo Security.
  • NO DIGGING!
  • NO Horse, horse trailers, or livestock are permitted on Camp Navajo.
  • DO NOT leave pets or minor children unattended. 
  • All pets shall be leashed at all times on Camp Navajo, this is Arizona State Law.  
  • Pet cleanup is mandatory. 
  • All RV sites will be kept clean – you are responsible for gray water and trash. 
  • All camping area kept properly contained to avoid attracting the wild animals on post.
  • Only US flag or State flags are permitted to be flown while on base.  
  • Respect your fellow campers. NO loud sounds/music. 
  • Generators will only be used during 6AM (0600) to 10PM (2200). 
  • Possession of weapons on Camp Navajo must follow all State & Federal guidelines and adhere to all Arizona National Guard rules and regulation.  
  • All weapons will be trigger or cable lock, unloaded in cantonment area at all times.  
  • NO open carry or display of firearms, BB guns and/or archery items.  
  • NO target shooting or off roading activities on Camp Navajo.  
  • All emergencies call 911.  All campers & guest of RV Park are subject to local, state, & federal law. 
  • Criminal activity will be reported to law enforcement. 
  • Alcohol consumption allowed within RV Park. 
  • Follow all instructions/request from the camp host, Camp Navajo authorities and law enforcement.  
  • Any violation of the above rules can result in eviction without refund.  
  • Camp at your own risk. Camp Navajo is not responsible for loss any property, damage, injury, or death. 

Camp Navajo reserves the right to update rules and requirements.  At any time, adeclaration of local emergency up to evacuation can occur without a refund.

Pine View RV Park Check in (apps.mil)

  • Overflow RV fee is $12 per day, only when RV park is full. Two nights maximum
  • Limit of 4 adults per site, $5 a day for each additional adult after 4th.
  • 2 vehicle limit per site. Additional vehicle shall park in the overflow area after Camp Host approval.
  • NO tents at the RV sites.
  • Campfires are permitted in fire rings. Fire Permit must be purchased from Camp Navajo Fire Department prior to starting fire.
  • RV site will not be left unattended for more than 48 hours.
  • Harvested animal must be fully contained in a appropriate cooler with no visible or accessibility in any way or you shall be asked to leave the park immediately.

Tappen Spring Campground Check in (apps.mil)

  • ALL CAMPERS MUST CHECK IN WITH CAMP HOST PRIOR TO DRIVING DOWN TO TAPPEN SPRINGS.
  • Tents and Campers (dry docking) is permitted ONLY at Tappen Springs.
  • ONLY time to travel out to Tappen Springs is during daylight hours. DRIVING AT NIGHT IS PROHIBITED.
  • MAXIMUM CONTNUOUS STAY IS 14 DAYS. Must leave Camp Navajo for 24 hours after maximum time.
  • Camp Navajo Garrison in not responsible nor will they provide any assistance using military equipment to pull you out if you become stuck. It is your responsibility to make those arrangements.
  • CAMPFIRES ARE NOT ALLOWED unless using Propane and/or Gas devices.
  • Campers must carry all their trash off Camp Navajo when departing.

  • Monday-Friday during normal business hours ONLY: Military retirees from any component, current Military members, and DEMA employees may also utilize the dump station if they are not staying on Camp Navajo
  • Any patron found dumping grey or black water on the installation is liable for the cleanup and will be asked to leave.
