Command Sergeant Major Aaron P. Buelow assumed responsibility as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader for the Arizona National Guard (AZNG) on March 5th, 2022. He is the principal advisor to the Adjutant General on all enlisted-related matters affecting the 6,200 enlisted Soldiers and Airmen of the AZNG and their families.

Command Sergeant Major Buelow entered the United States Army on June 9th, 1988, joining the Arizona Army National Guard on October 1st, 2008. His Assignments include operations NCOIC, mobilization training branch; Battalion operations NCOIC, Headquarters, 158th BSB; Group Operations SGM, headquarters, 198th RSG; Battalion Command Sergeant Major, 158 CSSB; Arizona Army National Guard G3 Sergeant Major; Senior Enlisted Advisor, Joint Task Force - Arizona; USNORTHCOM Senior Enlisted Leader of joint training and exercises; and Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Deputy Commanding General - National Guard, US Army Pacific.

Command Sergeant Major Buelow is a graduate of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy and the Keystone Senior Leadership Course. He graduated summa cum laude from Trident University with a master's in business administration.
